Contracts and fees

How long do I need to sign the lease for?

We typically sign lease agreements for 1 year with the possibility of renewal. With us, you have the certainty of stable housing for many years.

Do you sign rental or subletting contracts?

Mint Living signs standard rental agreements with our tenants, so you won’t find any loopholes or fine print here.

What are the fees?

Fees are divided into two parts. The first part is a flat-rate payment for services provided with the accommodation, which are not itemized (security, reception, waste disposal, elevators, lighting, etc., internet). The second part consists of advance payments for utilities (electricity and water), which are billed annually based on actual consumption. Electricity is not transferred. The amount of fees depends on the size and layout of the specific apartment.

Do you provide any additional services with the apartment?

Of course. You can order regular or deep cleaning of the apartment via the tenant portal or reception, and you can also request a technical service for minor repairs, etc. There is also a mobile dry-cleaning service (Laundrybox) available on the premises. These services are charged separately.
When moving in, you can use our “starter package” service – furniture and equipment for your apartment from IKEA. The package includes items like duvets, pillows, and basic kitchenware, so you don’t have to worry about anything during the move-in process. This service is charged separately.
On the premises, you’ll also find delivery boxes from Alza and Zásilkovna, or you can have parcels delivered to the reception.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a deposit must be paid before the start of the lease, and it is the equivalent of one to three months’ rent, including the fees. The exact amount depends on the result of the tenant’s creditworthiness check.

Housing and services

Do you provide any additional services to the apartment?

Of course. Through the tenant portal or reception you can order regular or general cleaning, order a technical service for minor repairs, etc. You will also find a mobile cleaning service (Loundrybox) directly on the premises. These services are charged separately.

When you move in, you can take advantage of our “starter pack” service – IKEA home furnishings. In the package you will find essentials such as duvets, pillows, basic crockery. So you don’t have to worry about much of anything when you move in. The service is paid for separately. You can also find delivery boxes from Alza and Zásilkovna right on the premises, or you can have your packages sent to the reception.

Can I have a pet in the apartment?

Of course. However, since the apartments are fully furnished with custom-made high-quality furniture, we kindly ask for a deposit of three months’ rent, including fees. This is always a refundable deposit.

Will I receive a certificate of accommodation as a foreigner?

Of course, we fulfill this obligation for our tenants without fail.

Does the property have security?

Yes, we take pride in providing a pleasant and safe environment. The reception is staffed with a friendly receptionist during the day, and security is on-site from evening to morning and on weekends to assist tenants. The property is also monitored by a CCTV system.

Can I start my lease on any day of the month?

Of course, that’s not a problem. We are ready.

I want an apartment with a garden – will someone help me with maintenance?

Certainly, you won’t need to buy a lawnmower for the small garden. Our technicians regularly mow the lawns. You will only need to water the plants and enjoy summer barbecues.
